BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold & Stevens, Inc., provider of the world’s most rugged, lightweight, and clear sport optics, is pleased to announce that the company’s Pro Shooters dominated the National Rifle League Hunter Series’ Grand Slam Championship, held at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Palisade, Col., from August 6-8. Team members Jon Pynch and Morgun King finished first and second in the Open Light Division, respectively, while Matt Alwine won the Open Heavy Division.

An invitation-only match, the NRL Hunter Grand Slam Championship brought together the circuit’s top athletes for 20 stages of shooting across two days of competition. Pynch and King tied atop the Open Light Division with 146 points–Pynch would win on a tiebreaker. Alwine also scored a 146 to win the Open Heavy Division.

Pynch, King, and Alwine all use Leupold’s award-winning Mark 5HD riflescope with the new PR2-MIL reticle on their competition rifles.
