"I was grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts on training the future generations of conservation leaders," said Dr. Leath. The Boone and Crockett Club University program and Demmer Scholars program are key to enabling our future leaders. I deeply appreciate the chance to engage with so many dedicated individuals working to protect our hunting heritage and train our next generation."

Dr. Leath’s background as a federal scientist, professor, and university president provides a strong foundation for his leadership in conservation. An avid outdoorsman and hunter, he has been a steadfast advocate for responsible wildlife stewardship and habitat preservation.
