The "Monday Night Hunts" lineup includes the following:
The Hunter's Quest (8:00 p.m. ET): Hunter McWaters grew up hunting whitetails and waterfowl on the East Coast, but once he found western hunting his life changed forever. Follow Hunter as he learns to become a better hunter – and a better human – through public-land adventures in the American West and beyond. In the first episode of the month, "Wyoming Duck 'n Buck 1," Hunter is joined by Taylor Deemer of Ducks Unlimited, and they head to Eastern Wyoming for waterfowl and antelope.
The Western Hunter (8:30 p.m. ET): Hosted by Nate Simmons and Chris Denham, this fan-favorite program documents the journeys of public-land hunters out West. The stories unfold in some of the wildest and most beautiful settings on the continent in pursuit of big game. In this week's show, "Barely Legal Part 1," Nate Simmons bow hunts for high country mule deer on public land in Wyoming.
Art of Wild (9:00 p.m. ET): A film series that aims to tell stories about the wild in the most cinematic way possible, Art of Wild takes viewers to incredible, wild places that most people will never see but where the human spirit is truly fed. Only a hunter knows what it's like to wake up with the woods, to hear a bull bugle in the gray light, or to experience the myriad moments that make up the beauty of the wild. This series isn't about any one person but about what hunters enjoy the most – the wild. This week on "The Eye," longtime Art of Wild friend Josh Bartlam hunts whitetail deer in Kansas with his dad.
Into High Country (9:30 p.m. ET): Host Jason Matzinger seeks to capture the best of western hunting in his home state of Montana and throughout the West. Into High Country documents a wide array of authentic hunting adventures in the most epic western landscapes. Featuring various bow and rifle hunts for big game such as elk, mule deer, black bear, moose, pronghorn and more, Matzinger's goal is to reflect the connection between hunter, wild game and wild places and to emphasize hunters' role as the world's foremost conservationists. In the first show this month, "Bowhunting Montana Bull Elk, Part 2," Matzinger bow hunts Big Sky Country with girlfriend Tara and close friends.
Jim Shockey's Shock Therapy(10:00 p.m. ET): Host Jim Shockey and his guests provide special access to it all, uncut and unplugged! You thought you saw it the first time, but now Shockey takes viewers behind the scenes to learn the rest of the story of what really happened on those episodes of The Professionals, UNCHARTED and Jim Shockey's Hunting Adventures! In this week's episode, "Agent to Adventure," Shockey sits down with John Dubin – a former FBI Counterterrorism Unit agent turned avid hunter and adventurer – to talk about his extraordinary journey from high-stakes law enforcement operations to unforgettable hunts in one of the most spectacular places on earth – Hawaii.
Greg McHale's Wild Yukon (10:30 p.m. ET): Host Greg McHale brings a passionate spirit of adventure to his big-game hunts in Canada's wild Yukon and beyond, creating intense and inspiring journeys that push him both physically and mentally. Follow McHale and his family as they create memories in the wilderness and pass on the traditions that we all love. In this week's show, "South Island Stories: Chasing Chamois," McHale turns his focus to the chamois of New Zealand's Southern Alps. Spotting the unique goat-antelope in the vast, rocky terrain and then stalking into range under shifting conditions calls for persistence, good-timing, and precise shooting.
MeatEater (11:00 p.m. & 11:30 p.m. ET): Hunter, author, cook and conservationist Steven Rinella treks into the world's most remote, beautiful places, bringing game meat from field to table. In this week's first episode, "Montana Heritage Hunt," Steven Rinella sets off alone with his muzzleloader; and in the second show, "Texas Turkeys," Rinella hunts turkeys on the historic Yturria Ranch with country music artist Luke Combs.
Don't miss the week-long bowhunting extravaganza – "Bownanza" – airing Monday (9/14), Tuesday (9/15), Wednesday (9/16), Friday (9/18) from 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET; and Saturday 4:00-7:00 p.m. ET.
Also, the "Hardest Hunts Marathon"on Saturday, 9/26, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. ET, proves that some game comes with a little extra blood, sweat and tears.
