The Pro 4.0 Solar, which was available exclusively at Bass Pro Shops, is now available both online and in all REVEAL retail partner stores. The Pro 4.0 Solar joins the 4.0 product line, which includes the REVEAL Pro 4.0 Cellular Camera ($159.99 MSRP) and REVEAL X 4.0 Cellular Camera ($129.99 MSRP). The initial July 16 launch of the 4.0 line set an online sales record for Tactacam, and the Pro 4.0 Solar continues the momentum as one of the most heavily anticipated hunting products of 2026.

The feature-rich Pro 4.0 Solar Cellular Camera includes innovations designed to improve camera performance and efficiency. The camera comes standard with a REVEAL FLEXPACK™ R5 (5000 mAH) lithium battery. Similar to battery systems found in modern power tools, the FlexPack™ system is completely interchangeable with 4.0 cameras, giving customers flexibility in adapting a power system for their needs. The Pro 4.0 Solar can also be powered by the FlexPack™ R10 (10,000 mAH) ($99.99 MSRP).
The Pro 4.0 Solar also comes standard with a compact and powerful new solar panel which can also be detached, mounted independently, and connected to the camera with the included barrel jack cable.
The Pro 4.0 Solar features dual image sensors that drastically improve image quality and efficiency. With two unique camera sensors able to operate in tandem, the system eliminates the audible "click" heard in previous model cameras during nighttime images. The sensors are also able to instantly produce vivid nighttime images without the need for a low-light filter, which existing trail cameras use to create a visible image in low light. The result produces crystal clear images day or night, silent image capture, and highly efficient operation to reduce demand on the power system. The sensors can also produce instant video and imagery simultaneously.
After extensive field testing over the past year, REVEAL 4.0 cameras proved to double the battery life of previous REVEAL cameras and far outlast all competitor cameras.
Additionally, the Pro 4.0 Solar features a clever new control panel design to make in-field placement and operation more user-friendly. The covered panel is conveniently located on the side of the camera, providing a direct line of vision for the user when mounting a camera. The control panel is accessed via a locking cover, which also disengages the battery pack for a secure seal when closed and operational in the field.
